Description: The research aims at documenting the impact of agency banking as a form of financial innovation on poverty incidence in Nigeria, especially in rural areas where access to formal financial institution is not within reach. The research method is a cross sectional analysis involving the use of questionnaire and focus group discussion with systematically selected sample. The study is expected to contribute to the literature on financial inclusion and poverty discussion in Nigeria
