Test for homogeneity of meteorological data collected at over 24 stations across Nigeria including records of temperature, rainfall lightening and humidity
This study
uses transfer models over all spectrum of radiation and considers absorption,
scattering and surface albedo processes. For the selected study areas, we hope to obtain geoelectrical data using PASI Earth
Resistivity meter, model 16-GL. A combination of Vertical Electrical Soundings using the
square array, horizontal profiling and 2D electrical measurements would be undertaken. The
main aim is to detect the aquifer zones and the different subsurface successions. The survey
areas will be georeferenced by Global Positioning System (GPS). Subsequently, NMR
measurements would be undertaken at potential locations delineated from the interpretation
of the electrical resistivity measurements. Finally, computer based-machine learning will be
used to as a predictive tool to enhance the potential groundwater zone.
