Ayotunde is a lecturer (Assistant Lecturer) in the Accounting Department at Lagos State University, Faculty of Management Sciences. Before joining Lagos State University, Ayotunde was a Relationship Manager at Sigma Pensions Limited, Abuja, and Lagos, where he managed well over 250 Companies registered with the National Pension Commission (PENCOM).
Ayotunde has his first and second degrees in Accounting from the prestigious Africa Centre of Excellence University (Lagos State University) in the years 2015 and 2019 respectively. Ayotunde is currently having his Doctoral degree at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
Ayotunde’s research interest is in the area of Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Market-based accounting research. Generally, the determinants and economic consequences of corporate disclosures; the impact of corporate governance on the level of asset quality and capital adequacy; herding behavior in the stock market; financial governance; anti-money laundering (AML)
