Biography

Adekunle Ibrahim Oladejo is an academic staff at the Department of Science and Technology Education, Lagos State University, Ojo. He holds a master’s degree in educational technology and a PhD in ICT Education with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence. He was the principal of Monument Future College between April 2012 and March 2020. He won the Okebukola Science Foundation Doctoral Fellowship Award in 2021 and 2022. He is an Associate Expert at the UNESCO Institute for Culture and International Understanding (IACIU) and the Centre for Human Security and Dialogue, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. He is the Academic Programmes Officer of the Africa Centre of Excellence for Innovative and Transformative STEM Education (ACEITSE) and. Adekunle is a member of several professional bodies including the Educational Media and Technology Association of Nigeria (EMTAN), and the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST), USA. His publications feature in high-impact factor journals (local and international), indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and many more. He also has to his credits research grants worth over N18,000,000:00 in the last three years. Adekunle Oladejo’s current research is at the intersection of culture, technology, and context, as well as how artificial intelligence can be safely adopted in the classroom to break barriers to students’ learning of STEM and promote equity in STEM classrooms.
