Topic: EFFECT OF ENVIROMENTAL CUES ON PLANT GROWTH AND PRODUCTIVITY YIELD
Description: World climate change is becoming a thing of concern to all. Plants growth performance, fruit yield and overall existence may also eventually be drastically affected. Hence the research will monitor effect of environment, the abiotic components such as light intensity, water regimes, carbon dioxide level on growth of plants. This will enable for accurate record of their optimal growth and extent of endangering. Thus monitoring changes in these over the years as contribution to regulatory advisory board in the agriculture and e virome tal departments of the state/ nation on management of crops and plants biodiversity.

NITRATE REDUCTASE ENZYME ACTIVITY OF EPIPHYTIC AND LAND PTERIDOPHYTES IN CORELLATION TO THE LEVEL OF THEIR PHYTOCHEMICAL BIOACTIVE CONSTITUENTS
BIOACTIVE CONSTITUENTS OF TERRESTIAL PTERIDOPHYTES IN LAGOSINTRODUCTION: PTERIDOPHYTES BELONG TO A GROUP OF PLANTS WHICH ARE NOT REGARDED AS BEEN IMPORTANT IN THIS AREA OR OTHER THAN AS ORNAMENTALS. MAJORITY OF THEM ARE ALSO BEEN DESTROYED DUE TO URBANIZATION. THE RESEARCH WILL THUS SHOW THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE PLANTS IN THE AREAS OF PHYTOMEDICINE AND FOOD. IT WILL ALSO CAPTURE THE AREAS IN LAGOS WHERE THEY STILL EXIST PRESENTLY, AND ALSO FURTHER MONITOR THEIR POPULATION DYNAMICS IN THE STATE IN THE FUTURE YEARS
