Prof. Rasaq Adewale Olowu, holds a Ph.D. in Physical Electroanalytical/Environmental Chemistry from the University of the Western Cape South Africa. He is currently a Professor in the Chemistry Department at the Lagos State University Lagos Nigeria and as over 25 years of University teaching and research experience. His area of research is in electroanalysis and aptamers synthesis and nanotechnology in the analysis of endocrine disrupting chemicals and other pollutants as well as heavy metals in environmental and clinical samples using electrochemical work stations (potentiostat), HPLC, and AAS techniques.
