ABDULSOMOD DAPO OLOHUNLANA
Olohunlana Somod Dapo is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Lagos State University. He obtained a bachelor degree and master’s degree in Economics at the Lagos State University. He is also a graduate member of Nigerian Economic Society (NES). He has undergone several research trainings in reputable institutions such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). He has also participated in a number of household survey research projects organized by the Lagos Bureau of Statistics (LBS), and had supervised research sponsored by the Lagos State Research and Development Council.
Being an ardent lover of research, he had undertaken several capacity building courses on cutting edge research methodology and the experience has produced a number of research articles in reputable journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of several committees at the department and faculty levels. As an entrepreneurship driven individual, Olohunlana is a certified digital marketer and has impacted on youths of Lagos State through free trainings on digital marketing. He currently lectures in Diploma and Sandwich programmes of the institution and as a response to the perceived learning loss due to the COVID19 pandemic, Olohunlana has built his expertise in e-facilitation and has since virtually engaged the students to bridge the learning gap.
