Effects of Project Management Techniques on Entrepreneurship Development in Lagos State, Nigeria
The study will focus on the application of project management techniques on entrepreneurship development in Lagos State. Project management is the backbone of all would-be entrepreneurs. The study is looking at how the art of project management could be used to design a blueprint for Lagos state on how to implement a policy on youth empowerment. In the management of projects, challenges are encountered. these challenges are recognised as constraints in the world of project management. These constrains were developed into the project management knowledge areas. the knowledge areas include project cost management, project quality management, project schedule management, project resources management, project integration management, project stakeholder management, project procurement management, project scope management, among others. Survey research design would be adopted to entrepreneurs owning small and medium enterprises SMEs within the five divisions of Lagos State using purposive sampling techniques. The data collected would be analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
