Description: The study examines how the manufacturing industry in Nigeria is responding to the management of the present situation where their activities are affecting the balance of life. There is increasing pollution air, water noise of the environment and high rate of deforestation. Many organizations always seem to forget that all their inputs are sourced from the environment. In business, when these natural resources are used as input without limit, it leads to exhaustion and the environment changes. This has eventually led to global warming, increasing flood, tsunamis and in some cases earthquake. The environmental degradation cannot continue unabated, hence this study to examine the extent manufacturing industries in Nigeria are responding to these challenges.
