Topic: Exponentially-Fitted Numerical Schemes For General Second-Order Differential Equations
Description: Exponentially-Fitted methods constitute a very efficient class of numerical methods for the solution of stiff or highly periodic problems. Therefore, they are perfectly suited for carrying out complex simulations. The methodology consists of producing algorithms for operations on functions that can be written as a linear combination of elements of a set. This is to improve the performance on problems with stiff or periodic solutions. This research work focuses on the construction and implementation of different families of such method. It is expected that the new methods will produce better results compared with their classical counterparts.
