A critical appraisal of the Nigeria Netizens in selected home videos

This study explores the influence of Nollywood on Nigerian Netizens especially the Generation Z. film is a tool for positive influence and culture laundering which Nollywood often time fail to project but pushes mediocrity, always pandering to the European standard of beauty thereby influencing the Netizens, especially Generation Z's negatively.

This study will be using historical and expository research methods to argue this case such as Nollywood films like Campus Queen, React and Love Found Me, the internet, social media apps, newspapers scholarly works and other relevant subjects.

This study recognised the need for Nollywood and the government rto partner towards propagating a positive image and appropriate education of its young generation to preserve its culture and disseminate the right information cum education so that its culture will not gradually go into extinction.

It, therefore suggests that government take an interest economically and financially in the Nollywood business and create a conducive environment for the industry to influence the output of positive and appropriate education and information from Nollywood
