J.O. Odeyemi is a Phonetian/Pnonologist who specialises in the sounds of English in Nigeria and the Black world. He equally interrogates the interplay between the phonologies of African Englishes and the peculiarities of the sound systems of native speaker environments.
Odeyemi engages also as an interpreter at world forums, especially where Englishes across national boundaries world over. Odeyemi is also a professional editor and proofreader of English-based productions.
For over thirty years, Odeyemi has been a University lecturer who has engaged in teaching, research and community service in Nigeria and elsewhere.
J.O. Odeyemi, as a trained lawyer and Administrator, is also into offering professional legal counsel and administrative advice to individuals, business and public executives, institutions and corporations.
