IN PROGRESPolitical parties in a democratic government are expected to recruit members in order to aggregate diverse opinions from society. They also produce a common policy and perform the role of educating electorates to make informed choices during election.Theobjectives of theresearch work are:1.To examine the emergence of the All Progressive Congress in Lagos State.2.To examine the nature, character of the conduct of party primaries in Lagos State All Progressive Congress.The Research methodology adopted is Qualitative Research Method while employing both Key Informant Interview KII and Focus Group Discussion FGD .The significance of the Research is its contribution to the study of political party and internal democracy in the All Progressive Congress most especially in the Lagos Chapter of the Party.IN PROGRESS
