Lawal-Arogundade, is a Senior Lecturer g in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Lagos State University, Ojo, Nigeria. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate trainings from the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos (1991-1996), University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos (1998-1999), Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos (2001-2002) and (2016-2017) and Lagos State University (2017 - 2021). He has a good record of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has taught courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different departments and faculties of the University. Lawal-Arogundade has occupied many administrative positions both in the Department and the University at large. He was the Department of Economics Records Officer between 2000- to date, Department of Economics Examination Officer between 2008-20016, Programme Officer: Postgraduate Diploma in Economics between 2006-2008, Programme Officer: B.Sc Economics Part-time between 2008-2017 (Ojo, Campus. He has been a member of the Lagos State University Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee from 2003 to date and a member of the Lagos State University Results Verification Committee from 2010 to date. He also served as an External Examiner to the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria from 1998-2000. His area of research is in Economic Theory, Public Sector, Environmental Economics, Development Economics, and International Economics. Lawal-Arogundade has published research articles in reputable journals, chapters in books, and conference proceedings both at local, national, and international levels. Presently, he is the assistant director at Centre of Response. and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence
