Biography

The general focus of my research is aquaculture, but more precisely has been a study of the shellfishes, particularly Macrobrachium and Callinectes species, covering such areas as the production (farming), biology (food and feeding habits, morphological characterization) and heavy/nutritive metals studies as well as biochemical and microbiological studies. This is with a view to exploring the aquaculture potentials of these shellfishes, and other fin-fishes of aquaculture importance in Nigeria.
