Dr Abdulazeez Giwa's research interests cuts across the fields of Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics and Genomics. He is broadly interested in discovering multi-omic biomarkers of human and animal diseases. He discovered novel prognostic gene expression and diagnostic DNA methylation biomarkers of neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer. His current research focuses on uncovering transcriptomic biomarkers of Bovine Respiratory Disease in Cattle. Dr Giwa is skilled in Python, R, Data Mining, Machine Learning and NGS analysis.
