Description: Introduction:The home is the first point of contact for the child which determine the resources avail to child.Therefore, it occupies a pertinent position in the overall development of the child.Aims/Objectives:The study is expected to triangulate using both/either quantitative and qualitative approach in order to provide answers to raised research question s and hypotheses. The outcome of the study is expected to reveal the influence of several home related factors on students achievement. Therefore, the outcome will reveal how such factor can become curtailed or reinforced in order to improved the academic achievement of the child.
