Tolulope Ewekeye has been a University Lecturer and researcher since 2007. He holds a PhD in Botany from the University of Ibadan. His research interests include plant pathogen/host interactions, biological control of plant diseases, post harvest pathology and environmental mycology. He has served a course advisor and was the Examination officer in the Department of Botany, Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo for over ten years. He was also one of the pioneer Career advisors at the LASU Career Development Centre (LCDC). He was also the Postgraduate Coordinator for the Department of Botany, LASU between January/ 2022 and August 2023. He belongs to various professional organizations including the Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON), Nigerian Society for Plant Protection (NSPP) and Asian Phytopathological Society (ASPS). He is currently the Acting Head of Department of Botany, LASU. He has published in reputable journals both locally and internationally and has supervised over 60 undergraduate research projects and co-supervised 1 PhD student.
