Tolulope Ewekeye, an Associate Professor of Botany, has been a University Lecturer and researcher since 2007. He holds a PhD in Botany from the University of Ibadan. His research interests include plant pathogen/host interactions, biological control of plant diseases, post-harvest pathology, and environmental mycology. He has served as a course advisor and was the Examination officer in the Department of Botany, Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, for over ten years. He was also one of the pioneer Career advisors at the LASU Career Development Centre (LCDC). He was the Postgraduate Coordinator for the Department of Botany, LASU, between January 2022 and August 2023. He was an assistant director, Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS), LASU, between August 2022 and August 2023. He belongs to various professional organizations, including the Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON), Nigerian Society for Plant Protection (NSPP), and Asian Phytopathological Society (ASPS). He served as the Head of the Department of Botany, LASU, between August 2023 and August 2025. He has published in reputable journals both locally and internationally and has supervised over 80 undergraduate research projects, 2 Master’s dissertations, and co-supervised 1 PhD student.
