Awotundun Dele Ayo is a lecturer and a researcher in the Department of Finance, Lagos State University. He is a chartered accountant with many years of experience in audit and accounting firms. He obtained his first and second degrees in Finance/Banking and Management respectively from the University of Lagos. He holds a Ph.D., with specialization in Corporate Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University. Having worked several years, he joined the service of Lagos State University as an assistant lecturer in 2004 and moved to the rank of a senior lecturer in October, 2018. Dr. Awotundun’s teaching areas at under graduate and postgraduate levels include, Introduction to Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Bank Management, Financial Risk Management and Financial Planning and Control. As a contemporary researcher, he has published several articles at National and International countries. He has served the university in various capacities as course level adviser, examination officer, Program coordinator and he is a member of various committee within the university. Currently, he is the Acting Head of the Department of Finance.
