BIOGRAPHY- MUFUTAU A. AWONIYI
Mufutau A. Awoniyi is a Lecturer and a Professor in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, Lagos State University, Olo - Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently the Acting Head of Department and was formerly the Head of Marketing Unit. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) from the University of Liberia, Monrovia- Liberia; and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, Nigeria; Master of Philosophy degree in Business Administration (Marketing) ( M.Phil) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria ; Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Business Administration (Marketing) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
He has many years of teaching and administrative experience as lecturer and consultant in the areas of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management and Small Business Management with universities and Polytechnics in Nigeria and abroad. He was the pioneer acting Rector of All-Over Central Polytechnic, Sango Otta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He was a special consultant (Resource and Process) to the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, now NIMN. He has also worked in many organizations, some of which are: National Water Rehabilitation Project (Osun State Water Corporation) as a consultant on Purchasing and Supply; De-Stallion Finance Ltd, Lagos- Nigeria as Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance, Olutayo Adenekan and Co, Chartered Accountants as Auditor and Audit Manager respectively.
