Career Progression and Employee s Performance in Selected Outlets of Domino Pizza in Lagos State

Research Details

Assessing career development programmes on the performance of employees for organisational advancement and business expansion is imperative and vital for the sustainability of organisations. Therefore, committed and engaged employees are invaluable assets to an organisation as high levels of employee commitment and engagement promote retention of talents, foster customers loyalty, and improve organisational performance and stakeholders value. As a result, this study examined career progression and employee's performance in selected branches of Domino Pizza in Lagos State. The study employed the Theory of Work Adjustment and Social Cognitive Career Theory. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. The target population of this study was 150 employees who were selected using the non-probability sampling technique. The study utilized the quantitative mode of data collection through questionnaire. Findings from the study will reveal if career progression have a strong relationship with employee's performance. Recommendations will also be made to guide the appropriate stakeholders.
