Topic: Investigating The Relationship Of The Existence Of Interest Of French Undergraduate Students And The Nigeria French Language Village Badagry In Learning French In Lagos State Higher Institutions.
Description: IntroductionThe relationship of the existence of interest of French undergraduate students coming to the Nigeria French Language Village Badagry is to participate in language immersion or acculturation programme to enable those students that were not financially buoyant to travel abroad to stand high and compete with their colleagues endowed with that opportunity by their parents. Since Nigeria s federal government made this an alternative to making it easy based on the inability of their parent s financial constraints. Therefore, this study aimed at Investigating the relationship between the existence of interest of French undergraduate students and the Nigeria French language village Badagry in learning French in Lagos state higher institutions.Aims/ObjectivesTo investigate the relationship between the existence of interest of French undergraduate students and the Nigeria French Language Village Badagry in Learning of French in Lagos State Higher Institutions. MethodologyIn a bid to achieve a detailed and effective outcome for this study, the research design employed in this project is a descriptive design using a survey method where a portion of the population was sampled. Expected ResultBy identifying the significant benefits and usefulness of the French language in Nigeria. That the coming of French undergraduate students to the Village is significantly related to students interests. Also, lecturers workshop is significantly related to French undergraduate students academic performance in French.

Development and Utilization of a Culturally Relevant Learning Management System and its Efficacy on Learning outcomes of Students in Biology
The main purpose of the study is to develop and
test the efficacy of a Culturally Responsive and
Context Specific Learning Management System (CLMS) on secondary school students
‘learning outcomes in biology. Specifically, present study is designed to investigate
the efficacy of CLMS on students’ critical thinking ability in traditionally perceived
difficult biology concept. Also to examine the
efficacy of CLMS on biology students’ collaborative skills, investigate the
effect of CLMS on students’ knowledge retention in traditionally perceived
difficult biology concept and the views of students towards the effectiveness
of CLMS. The project will be carried out in two phases. Phase one will focus on
developing and activating the proposed CLMS. Phase two will involve using a
mixed-method research design to evaluate the efficacy of the CLMS. The
quantitative component of the mixed method design will employ a pre-test,
post-test quasi-experimental design, while the qualitative component will use a
semi-structured interview guide to explore participants' perspectives and
experiences in depth. To achieve this, four public schools will be
purposively selected from educational districts V in Lagos State, Nigeria. These
schools will then be randomly assigned to ensure diversity and
representativeness within the study population. The experimental group will
comprise two of the selected schools where the CTCA will be implemented, while
the other two schools will serve as the control group, employing the
conventional lecture method.
