Description: The research focus is on the relationship between physical work environment and employee&s performance among academic institutions using Lagos State University as a study as well as employing quantitative approach for the study. The object of the research shall include the examination of influence of the physical work environment on employee&s performance vis-avis physical work environment and employee&s commitment, infrastructural facilities and work place environment on employee&s job satisfaction.

Conflict Management Practices as a Catalyst for Team Work in the Manufacturing Organization: A Study of Nigerian Bottling Company Plc.
Conflict in an employment rapport has been an issue of continuing interest and debate, managing conflicts in organizations has over the years been seen as the sole accountability of the managers who frequently times took inflexible stance on how to deal with it. Thus, this study investigates an empirical analysis of conflict management practices on team work. Moreover, simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents of this study among staff of Nigerian bottling company Plc. 264 structured questionnaires were distributed and 244 92.4% copies were returned and found useable. Descriptive statistics was employed to analyse the responses while Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used to test the hypotheses formulated. However, it was found that there is significant effect of status inconsistencies on team work, there is significant effect of overlapping authority on team work and also that there is significant effect of scarce resources on team work. Therefore, the study recommended that a genuine organization should see difficulties and challenges as organizational issues as well , so as to proffer collective solutions to identified problems together. This is because, the peaceable existence of the industrial unions infers the peaceful existence of the organization.
